A digital menu platform for Restaurante Oliveiras in Guimarães: one dashboard updates the QR code menu at the tables, the TV in the dining room, social media images and the restaurant website.

Overview
Restaurante Oliveiras is a regional Portuguese restaurant in Guimarães, open since 1990. Before this project the menu was kept in a PowerPoint file and on a standard menu platform in parallel, and the two rarely matched.
We replaced both with one database and one dashboard. Whoever is working the floor opens the dashboard on their phone, sets the daily specials, changes a price or marks a dish as sold out, and the change reaches every channel at once:
- QR code menu at the tables, mobile-first, in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. Sold-out dishes stay on the list, struck through and labelled, and dietary filters mark dishes instead of hiding them.
- TV mode for the dining room: the full menu on a single 1920×1080 screen with the daily specials highlighted. It refreshes live, with no restart.
- Social media images: an Instagram story (1080×1920) and a Facebook image (2048×1075) for lunch or dinner, generated from the day's menu, plus the Facebook caption ready to copy.
- Website at restauranteoliveiras.pt, with the house, daily specials, take-away and contacts, structured data for Google and an
llms.txtfor AI assistants.
The owners write only in Portuguese. The English, Spanish and French versions come from a local glossary when a dish is saved, with no paid translation service, and can be corrected by hand.
We also moved the existing domain to the new platform, with DNS and SSL configured for the menu, the TV and the dashboard.
