Overview
Atelier Mater is a drawing, painting and sculpture studio in Guimarães, with regular classes for young people and adults, preparation for the national drawing exam, workshops and intensive courses. The space has been under renovation since July 2026 and opens in October 2026.
The work started before the website. While the storefront was covered in "under construction" vinyl, we built a launch page that turned the mirrored panels into a live mirror: visitors saw themselves inside the storefront through their phone camera, took a photo with the brand frame and shared it.
The website at ateliermater.pt followed, with the studio's story, the classes and levels, contacts and a map. Until enrolments open, the home page collects emails for early access and the newsletter.
Behind it is the enrolment system for the first intake:
- Founder places: the first twenty paid enrolments get the founder benefits, including the enrolment fee waived. They pay online through Stripe, and the confirmation email states whether the person got a founder place.
- Payments at the studio: after the founder intake, people pay in person and a teacher records the payment in the backoffice. Both routes produce the same record, so lists, totals and exports do not depend on how someone paid.
- Backoffice: enrolments, newsletter subscribers, an inbox of new sign-ups, editable FAQ and data export.
